Dr. Tina Atherall is a social innovation strategist with a concentration in nonprofit leadership. She is the CEO of PsychArmor and works with communities educating and advocating for critical support for those who have served and their families. She has embedded her career in the field of social work innovation and leadership and obtained her Doctor of Social Work (DSW) from the University of Southern California. Her recent work focuses on the 13 Grand Challenges for Social Work to eradicate the public health crisis of social isolation. Tina has advanced certificates in nonprofit leadership, military social work, and is a Certified Daring Way™ Facilitator. She is an Associate Adjunct Professor at Columbia University School of Social Work, Simmons University, and the University of Kentucky. Her work to ensure positive health and wellness outcomes for military-affiliated communities led to her selection as one of only 49 scholars in the Bush Institute 2021 Stand-To Veteran Leadership Program.
