Taylor Weintraub

Taylor Weintraub is a lifelong member of the Detroit Jewish community and a proud mom of two children who attend the Early Childhood Center at Temple Israel. Having grown up at Temple Israel herself, Taylor’s connection to the congregation is deeply personal, and she is passionate about creating the same strong sense of Jewish identity, community, and belonging for her own children.
Taylor serves on the Board of Trustees at Temple Israel and helps lead the Early Childhood Center’s Parent Connection, where she works to strengthen relationships among families, teachers, and the broader Temple community. She is also actively involved with NextGen Detroit through the Jewish Federation of Detroit and the Jewish Fertility Foundation Detroit. Much of Taylor’s community involvement is centered around building meaningful connections, supporting young families, and helping ensure that the Detroit Jewish community remains a vibrant and welcoming place for generations to come.
Taylor lives in Bloomfield Hills with her husband, Ross, and their two children, Madden and Josie.
To me, Eradicate Hate was the most important gathering of 2021 for those of us who work on issues related to domestic extremism and organized hate. The Summit uniquely combined a variety of perspectives, including experts, civil society representatives, politicians and policymakers, and the families and loved ones of victims. Eradicate Hate has the important mission of standing against the rising tide of hate and extremism in our society, and it’s an honor to be able to support this mission.
