Director of Cyber Intelligence, Chainalysis
Robert Bone joined Chainalysis in May, 2021 as the Director of Cyber Intelligence after serving 25 years in U.S. Law Enforcement and Intelligence Agencies. In his work at Chainalysis, he oversees the intelligence team, which develops strategy on data collection and identification of illicit actors and activities in the blockchain in relation to crypto currency transactions. Mr. Bone served in the FBI since 2001, and was most recently the Special Agent in Charge of the FBI office in Los Angeles, California, overseeing all counterintelligence and cyber investigations in southern California and had the extraterritorial oversight of FBI investigations throughout Asia.
The inaugural Eradicate Hate Summit was a truly impressive gathering of leaders dedicated to finding lasting and effective solutions to violent extremism. I was particularly moved by the prominence given to survivors and family members of victims of hate and violence throughout the event. Their stories and those of so many others must be at the center of what we do and why we do it.
