Reese Saliceti serves as an intern for the Eradicate Hate Global Summit 2026. She is a senior at The University of Texas at Austin, majoring in Sociology and Plan II Honors, with a minor in Business and a certificate in Ethics and Leadership in Law, Politics, and Government. Her professional interests center around education policy, advocacy, and social entrepreneurship, with a focus on challenging barriers to education access and opportunity, and she is eager to bring that lens to Eradicate Hate’s work. Originally from San Antonio, she founded Dulce Custom Cakes, a venture that eventually led her to become the student speaker for TEDxUTAustin. Her talk explored the pitfalls of perfectionism and what it means to “dare greatly,” an ethos that closely resonates with Eradicate Hate’s mission.

Passionate about mentorship, Reese has served as a Peer Mentor, a KIPP middle school mentor, and a Resident Assistant, fostering a supportive environment for her peers and offering guidance on navigating university life. She remains highly involved on her college campus as an executive member of Texas Orange Jackets, UT’s oldest women’s service and host organization, and participates in several business and consulting organizations, including the Kendra Scott Women’s Entrepreneurial Leadership Institute (KS WELI) through its FoundHER program, where she represents UT’s female entrepreneurial community through podcasts and panels while inspiring women to start their own businesses.

This past summer, she interned at the Brennan Center for Justice, where she helped program events and gained nonprofit operations experience she hopes to apply at the Global Summit this fall.
