Rebecca Barrett-Fox is a scholar of religion, hate, and politics in the United States, with a focus on conservative Christianity, sexuality, immigration, race, and rightwing politics. She is the author of God Hates: Westboro Baptist Church, American Nationalism, and the Religious Right (University Press of Kansas, 2025/2016) as well as many scholarly articles. She is also the editorial board chair of the Journal of Hate Studies. She enjoys talking with people of faith about how they can help their communities become resilient to hate.
