Nick Street is a public service professional with a diverse background in military and law enforcement. As a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran, he served during Operation Iraqi Freedom as part of Task Force Tarawa and in Southeast Asia and Oceania as part of Operation Enduring Freedom. Following his military service, Nick transitioned to the U.S. State Department, where he played a critical role as a Construction Security Monitor for the New Embassy Complex in Beijing, China.
With a commitment to public service, Nick joined the Utah Department of Public Safety, where he has held various roles including State Trooper, Sergeant, and currently serves as a Lieutenant with the Statewide Information and Analysis Center’s Threat Management Unit. Throughout his career, Nick has demonstrated leadership, integrity, and a dedication to protecting and engaging Utah’s communities.
Nick is a graduate of Utah Valley University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Aviation, and Southern Utah University, where he received a Master of Public Administration. He resides in Holladay, Utah, with his wife and three sons.

My network of professionals working on countering hate in all its forms grew exponentially after attending Eradicate Hate in 2021. The myriad voices represented at Eradicate Hate, from big tech companies to academic researchers to those with lived experience, reinforced to me the importance of cross-cutting and collaborative approaches to counter hate and its devastating impacts on society. I’ve been fortunate to sustain and build those networks with many of those I met at Eradicate Hate in 2021.
