Major Andrusiak enlisted in the Pennsylvania State Police in 2002. In the early years of her career, she worked as a patrol trooper and a criminal investigator. Major Andrusiak has served at the ranks of Corporal, Sergeant and Lieutenant within the various stations under the purview of Troop K, Philadelphia, in the counties of Philadelphia, Delaware and Montgomery. Major Andrusiak has also served in the Bureau of Integrity and Professional Standards, Internal Affairs Division, as an investigator, as well as serving as the Director of the Drug Law Enforcement Division within the Bureau of Criminal Investigation. In 2023, she was selected by Colonel Christopher Paris, and appointed by Governor Josh Shapiro, to lead the Pennsylvania Office of Homeland Security.

Major Andrusiak is a 2000 cum laude graduate of Kutztown University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. She is a 2025 graduate of the Naval Postgraduate School, Center for Homeland Defense and Security, where she earned a Master of Arts in Security Studies (Homeland Security and Defense). She is also a graduate of the 283rd session of the Federal Bureau of Investigation National Academy.

Major Andrusiak draws on her extensive background and experience to uphold a long-standing commitment of collaboration with federal agencies, regional task forces, local governments, and the private sector. Her skillset guides coordinated efforts and strengthens homeland security initiatives across the Commonwealth. She remains focused on evolving the mission of the Office of Homeland Security to stay ahead of emerging threats and to develop forward-thinking strategies for continued success.

The Summit unites the public and private sectors, domestic and international, against hate and extremism. Researchers, activists, lawyers, technology experts, political leaders, and more come together, each bringing their unique tools to the fight. Important relationships that were established at the Summit in 2021 have carried forward into working groups with concrete deliverables for 2022 and beyond.
