Lori Sisson

Lori Sisson has been a member of the Film Pittsburgh staff since 2009. She received her Clinical Psychology degree from the University of Pittsburgh, with a focus on children with disabilities and their families and has experience working with special needs and at-risk children and youth in inpatient, home, and school settings. After a hiatus to raise her two children, Lori returned to work at Film Pittsburgh to manage the Teen Screen program, sharing international films with school students both in the theater and virtually.
The Summit offers a unique opportunity to confront the corrosive influence of bigotry and hatred in our society. In order for us to address these challenges, we first must acknowledge their painful and destructive impact in our communities and in our country. I am grateful to serve as a Global Advisor to this timely and powerful initiative.
