Jake Broadhead is a Supervisory Intelligence Analyst with the Utah Statewide Information and Analysis Center (SIAC), where he oversees a team that provides intelligence analysis and public safety threat detection. His team plays a vital role in supporting public safety partners across Utah and within the National Fusion Center Association (NFCA) network. Jake’s expertise spans the analysis of threats to elected officials, school safety, and targeted violence prevention, including the protection of houses of worship and other targeted communities.
With a deep commitment to countering hate-fueled extremism, Jake has contributed to threat mitigation efforts on both local and national levels. His work has involved conducting intelligence assessments, legislative briefings, and supporting investigative responses to violent threats, with a particular focus on preventing incidents motivated by hate.
Jake is passionate about finding actionable solutions to complex public safety issues and continues to collaborate with multi-disciplinary experts to strengthen community safety and resilience against hate-driven threats.

The catalytic power of this Summit in bringing together those who are devoting their lives to pushing back and working to confront, understand and work towards solutions around hate in our society is a noble and difficult task. The Summit not only energized those who attended but led to connecting the dots in a global network of those doing this work. The stories of the victims of hate were painful to witness but their courage in coming forward was inspirational. Those who attended left energized with the hope that by working together solutions can be forged.
