Rabbi Hindy Finman (she/her) is the Senior Director of Jewish Life and Director of the Center for Loving Kindness at the Jewish Community Center of Greater Pittsburgh (JCC PGH). In this role, Rabbi Hindy integrates Jewish values into the JCC’s operations, ensuring programs reflect a strong commitment to Jewish education, community building, and the spiritual needs of our members and staff. Her leadership in the Center for Loving Kindness fosters partnerships with interfaith leaders and local organizations to promote inclusivity, combat hate, and collective responsibility with social justice and civic engagement. Rabbi Hindy received her ordination and master’s in Jewish studies from Hebrew College in Newton, MA, and an undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice from Temple University. She sits on the board of the Hear Foundation and the steering committee for Stand For All Pittsburgh.
