Hannah Mayer
Grant & Operations Coordinator, Eradicate Hate
2024
Hannah Mayer joined Eradicate Hate as a Grant and Operations Coordinator in June 2026 after working with the organization as both a Nonprofit Management and Administrative Intern and a Grant Writing consultant. In her current position, Hannah manages the organization’s philanthropic grants, ensuring alignment between funder priorities and programmatic impact. In addition to her grant-related responsibilities, she supports organizational operations and helps track progress towards strategic goals. Hannah is deeply passionate about sustaining programs that advance safety and wellbeing across different communities, such as those housed at Eradicate Hate.
Prior to joining the organization, Hannah spent a year in the Lao People’s Democratic Republic (Laos) as an English Teaching Assistant on a Fulbright U.S. Student Program award. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Hannah volunteered with the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) in their Pakse (southern Laos) office where she helped build English communication capacity. Through relationships built in Laos, Hannah experienced firsthand how a sense of communal responsibility can help combat hateful ideology and foster a safer society.
Hannah holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Social Policy from Tulane University and a Master of Public Policy and Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management from the Trachtenberg School of Public Policy and Public Administration at George Washington University.

To me, Eradicate Hate was the most important gathering of 2021 for those of us who work on issues related to domestic extremism and organized hate. The Summit uniquely combined a variety of perspectives, including experts, civil society representatives, politicians and policymakers, and the families and loved ones of victims. Eradicate Hate has the important mission of standing against the rising tide of hate and extremism in our society, and it’s an honor to be able to support this mission.
