As the Director of the Intelligence Division within the Bureau of Criminal Investigation, Captain Jones provides strategic oversight and leadership for his department’s critical intelligence infrastructure. Managing a diverse division that includes the Pennsylvania Criminal Intelligence Center (PACIC), the Western Pennsylvania All Hazards Fusion Center (WPAHFC), and various tactical and analytical sections, Captain Jones specializes in data-driven decision-making and high-level interagency collaboration.
Since beginning his career with the Pennsylvania State Police in 2005, Captain Jones has demonstrated a commitment to operational excellence and public safety. In his current capacity, he has spearheaded initiatives such as the Community Anti-Threat Officer (CATO) program in partnership with the FBI and developed innovative recruitment strategies for intelligence analysts. His leadership is defined by an ability to identify organizational deficiencies and implement systemic improvements that enhance the overall functionality of the Bureau of Criminal Investigation.
An alumnus of the FBI National Academy (Class #292) and the Northwestern University School of Police Staff and Command (Class #478), Captain Jones complements his operational expertise with strong academic credentials. He holds a B.S. in Business, graduating magna cum laude from West Chester University, and a master’s certificate in Criminal Justice from the University of Virginia. He maintains an FBI Top-Secret clearance and is an active member of the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) and the Association of State Criminal Investigative Agencies (ASCIA).
To me, Eradicate Hate was the most important gathering of 2021 for those of us who work on issues related to domestic extremism and organized hate. The Summit uniquely combined a variety of perspectives, including experts, civil society representatives, politicians and policymakers, and the families and loved ones of victims. Eradicate Hate has the important mission of standing against the rising tide of hate and extremism in our society, and it’s an honor to be able to support this mission.
