Eradicate Hate:
2022

Ben Stearns counsels insurance industry clients on regulatory, compliance, transactional, international, and cross-border matters and defends insurers in coverage litigation. His practice extends to other regulated industries as well, providing licensing and compliance counsel to professional services, cannabis, and alcohol industry clients. He also lobbies the Florida executive branch and legislature.

Ben has provided guidance in the counterterrorism field. His work has led to presentations on the Support Anti-Terrorism by Fostering Effective Technologies Act of 2002, a government program designed to promote the development of anti-terrorism technologies, and research on intervention protocols as it relates to health and public health practitioners.

The Summit was more than empty words – it made clear that a solution-driven approach is the only way to fight hate. That’s why the working group activities, which are results driven are going to be critical in defeating violent extremism. The Summit brought together the best minds in government, private sector, academia, and civil society. Being surrounded by these experts sparked new ideas – some of which I’ve already implemented or have written about.
