Toni Murphy was appointed to The Pittsburgh Foundation board in 2021. As senior vice president at Comcast Cable’s Keystone Region Division, Toni is responsible for the organization’s operational, strategic and financial performance across four different states. She is the first Black woman to hold a top regional executive position in the company. In addition to her core responsibilities, she leads the Keystone Region Diversity and Inclusion Council and serves as the executive director for the northeast division Veteran’s Network Employee Resource Group. Prior to Comcast, she was an analyst at UBS Investment Bank in New York City and worked in a private equity for The Gores Group LLC.
Toni graduated from Princeton University with a bachelor’s degree in French and economics.
Toni is an emeritus board member of Strong Women Strong Girls and Catalyst Connection. She serves on the board of the August Wilson African American Cultural Center. She has received many industry awards and recognition for her professional success and her commitment to serving the community.
In her spare time, Toni is a jazz singer. She also loves traveling, writing poetry, and spending time with her husband, Craig, and children, LilyJin, Blaise and London.
