Eradicate Hate:
2024

Angie Gad is the Senior Manager of US Threat Intelligence at Moonshot. Her expansive career spans well over a decade and touches various sectors in the intelligence space, including government, law enforcement, private intelligence shops, tech start-ups, and academia. Across all of these, she has been recognized for providing exceptional analytical acumen, leadership, and world-class intelligence training programs.

Angie has a proven track record of success in uncovering and combating the activities of violent extremist activity online, namely ISIS, far-right extremists, and anti-government militia extremists, through her previous counterterrorism roles in the government and private sector, where she was an integral player in active terrorism investigations in partnership with the FBI, JTTF, and NYPD. Angie has also led and managed large intelligence shops and was vital in building and executing comprehensive intelligence training programs. In 2024, Angie took her passion for intelligence training and founded GadIntel, providing boutique intelligence training services to analysts and security teams across various industries.

In addition to her extensive practical experience, Angie has committed herself to the education and professional development of university students and aspiring analysts for successful careers in intelligence. Angie has taught at several universities, including Campbell, Rutgers, and NYU.

The Summit was more than empty words – it made clear that a solution-driven approach is the only way to fight hate. That’s why the working group activities, which are results driven are going to be critical in defeating violent extremism. The Summit brought together the best minds in government, private sector, academia, and civil society. Being surrounded by these experts sparked new ideas – some of which I’ve already implemented or have written about.
