Amy Mallinger is the co-founder of REACH (Remember Educate And Combate Hate), an organization established in 2023 dedicated to helping families and survivors of 10.27 share their stories. With a passion for engaging with audiences of all ages, Amy frequently speaks alongside the other 13 members of REACH at schools and community events, sharing their lived experiences.
In addition to her work with REACH, Amy is actively involved in the memorialization committee for the new Tree of Life Building project. She also manages social media for Tree of Life Synagogue, ensuring the community stays informed and connected.
The effort to eradicate hate requires the active participation of every component of our society, to include governments, the private sector, communities of faith and indeed every aspect of civil society. There is no more urgent task in front of us. The organizers of the Eradicate Hate Global Summit are doing the United States and the world an enormous service by tackling hatred and extremism with a focus on honest dialogue and conversation, genuine learning and practical solutions. This will not happen overnight, but the Pittsburgh community’s leadership in this effort is genuinely inspiring and motivating.
