A.C. Thompson is a correspondent for the PBS series FRONTLINE and a staff reporter for ProPublica. His reporting has helped lead to the exoneration of two innocent San Francisco men sentenced to life in prison, a Congressional investigation of the U.S. Border Patrol, and the prosecution of nine violent white supremacists. Thompson’s life was fictionalized on the HBO show “Treme.”

The Summit offers a unique opportunity to confront the corrosive influence of bigotry and hatred in our society.
