EMPOWER – The Idea Sprint and Teacher Professional Development (and lunch!)

  • Students
  • o Collect a boxed lunch outside the ballroom and return to the ballroom.
  • o Please sit at your assigned lunch table with students from another school district.
  • o Assign a “table captain” from each school to help keep the discussion on track.
  • o While eating lunch, complete the Idea Sprint worksheet. It will not be collected.
  • o Eradicate Hate working group members (including survivors and family members of victims of hate-fueled violence) may join you at some point.
  • Chaperones
  • o Collect a boxed lunch outside the ballroom and report to rooms 301-302 for a professional development training and networking session led by the Eradicate Hate K-12 Education Working Group.
