Young people bring unique insight into the risks, challenges, and opportunities shaping their communities, yet they are often excluded from prevention planning and decision-making. This session will elevate the voices of young leaders who are driving efforts to build belonging, support their peers, and prevent hate-fueled violence. It will also feature adults who directly work with youth via prevention programs. Panelists will share lessons learned from youth-adult partnerships and offer real-world examples of how intergenerational collaboration strengthens prevention efforts. Attendees will gain practical tools, strategies, and models for meaningfully integrating youth perspectives and leadership into their own programs, policies, and community-based prevention work.
