Today’s domestic terrorism threat poses a danger to Americans, our democratic society, and our national security that we must counter aggressively, comprehensively, and responsibly. This panel will discuss the composition and function of the newly created Domestic Terrorism Unit, showcase select domestic violent extremism-related cases, underscore the necessity of close collaboration with state/local and civic partners and point to available resources for the local community to best address domestic violent extremism within their respective communities.
