The Pennsylvania Threat Assessment Steering Committee (PA-TASC), led by the Pennsylvania’s Office of Homeland Security, was established to identify and advocate for the implementation of evidence-based behavioral threat assessment and management (BTAM) strategies available to safeguard the citizens of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania from targeted acts of violence. PA-TASC aims to deliver policy and training recommendations on the creation of operational multi-disciplinary BTAM teams throughout the Commonwealth. PA-TASC is comprised of subject matter experts from various state agencies, federal agencies, and private organizations specializing in BTAM. This meeting welcomes practitioners, policymakers, and the public living in Pennsylvania to join us and network with those leading this work in their local communities.
