Cory Weiss serves as the Executive Director of Communications Strategy for the World Jewish Congress. With a decade of experience at the WJC working on communications, advocacy, and Holocaust remembrance projects, he currently leads the organization’s #WeRemember Campaign as well as its engagement with corporate and sporting structures to develop effective solutions to counter antisemitism and support Jewish communities.

Cory holds a degree in Political Science with a specific focus in political communication and Jewish studies from the University of Delaware. He joined the World Jewish Congress after a post-graduate internship with the U.S. House Committee on Foreign Affairs.

The Summit was more than empty words – it made clear that a solution-driven approach is the only way to fight hate. That’s why the working group activities, which are results driven are going to be critical in defeating violent extremism. The Summit brought together the best minds in government, private sector, academia, and civil society. Being surrounded by these experts sparked new ideas – some of which I’ve already implemented or have written about.
