Matthew Mullen holds a Ph.D. in Human Rights and Peace Studies. He has had the privilege of working on a wide range of human rights and peace projects, from small-holding dairy farms in Ethiopia and conflict-affected communities in Myanmar to global reports for the United Nations and advising some of the world’s largest brands. Mullen is taking this experience and a love of sport into his role as the Head of Human Rights for the FIFA World Cup 2026™.

I am grateful to serve as a Global Advisor to this timely and powerful initiative.
