Michael Edison Hayden serves as a Senior Investigative Reporter and Spokesperson for Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), where he publishes stories about online radicalization, social media influencers and authoritarianism. His work as an investigative reporter has also been published in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, National Geographic, and Los Angeles Times, among other publications. He is a three-time grantee of the Pulitzer Center on Crisis reporting and he authored Columbia University’s guide to OSINT.
