As federal and state governments retreat from – or fail to adequately invest in – targeted violence primary prevention, the burden of bridging the gap is shifting to cities and counties. This panel convenes municipalities across the U.S. and Canada to examine how they should be empowered with frameworks, funding, and partners to fill the growing need.
